Met-Art is not known for it's movies; it is a photography site after all. But along with most other large photography sites on the internet today, Met-Art now offers movies along with its still images, and they're actually quite good. Today I'm posting a preview video showing what kind of stuff is available in the member's area over at Met. Keep in mind that this is a low quality sampler; members can download high-definition Div-X files that look superb. If you've looked at a lot of mainstream porn, or for that matter mainstream movies, advertising, television, magazines, etc. you have seen a lot of supposedly sexy girls. These fantastical images are fun to look at times, and maybe one day you'll even see a girl walking down the street who looks like she belongs on a glossy page, but realistically, most of the girls in your life (I'm not assuming you are a straight male here, I'm talking about all kinds of friendships with members of the female gender) don't look like that. They look like real people, because they are. And we all know (I hope) that its a lot more fun to hang out with real people than just look at pictures of pretty people. All of this leads me to Abby Winters and today's gallery, because Abby Winters is the one good porn site that features real people, people who you see on the beach, on the street, in the office, and wonder about. You might ask "Isn't the point of porn to fantasize about things that probably, statistically, aren't going to happen (like sex with beautiful models)?" That is a valid point, but it's also true, I think, that the stronger the connection between a fantasy and the real world, the more interesting and exciting the fantasy. There is a lot more I'd like to say about this, but I can't take up this whole page with text. However, if you have something to say or add to this post, please comment. Jessica Gildersleeve from New Nude Mag

We've seen plenty of casual nude self-portraits from IShotMyself, but it is difficult to find similar photography in the formal fine-art nude genre. Despite the fact that the really famous names in nude photography (i.e. Petter, Grigori) are all men, many female photographers are putting out some fantastic art. But this gallery is even more interesting, because the photographer, Jessica Gildersleeve, has put together a beautiful collection of fine art nude self-portraits. I've said that a photographer has to know their model to convey their person and not just their body in the image. No one knows a model as well as herself. Additionally, the interaction between photographer and model involves sometimes difficult communication and awkward exchanges. Not when the model is the photographer. I've come to appreciate the work of less well known photographers recently. I think that often the big names get a bit complacent or simply put out too much work for it to all be on a really high level. The lesser known artists, working with less pressure, and lower expectations, are much more free to express themselves through their photography, and the results are often much more interesting than anything from one of the famous names in photography.

Goncharov from Met Art

OK, I admit it: I think I might only like this gallery because it reminds me of Kyrgyzstan. The endless expanse of flatlands, the horses and horse-carts, the enormous skies, the beautiful girls. Only one difference: the girls in Kyrgyzstan kept their clothes on. Met-Art has quite a few of these strange, sort of pseudo-primative shoots, which I usually pass over, but every once and a while they're interesting, and there are a few shots in this one that I love for their ridiculousness and simultaneous photographic creativity. I don't find this gallery exceptionally erotic, but it's too much fun to leave out, and who knows, maybe someone else will...
