Every now and then, galleries at MUSE are studded with a few wonderful black and white photographs among the subtle color used in most of Richard Murrian's work. These black and white images aren't simply taken with black and white film, however, they gain a beautiful glowing luminosity from thoughtful desaturation after the fact, in which the color information is used to assist in creating the subtle tones of the final black and white image.
